Foreplay

Foreplay

In a marriage, especially with children and jobs, foreplay doesn’t seem relevant enough to fit into your schedule. But foreplay is essential to keep the attraction alive in your relationship and should not be ignored. There are many ways to get your spouse in the mood.

Simple is more. It doesn’t have to be a time consuming movie, dinner, flowers, and wine kind of night, although they are fun. A long and meaningful hug, a hand hold or just a warm touch can communicate so much more. It tells them you’re interested and you desire and love them, because actions speak louder than words. Show them love by writing a cute letter, surprising them at work with lunch, or sending a cute text.

Scheduling a date night is very important. Just as you schedule time with friends, parties, dinner, and children, you must schedule a night with your spouse. Foreplay can be taking them out, having fun, holding hands and laughing together. Relationships are hard, but being intentional with this person you married is detrimental to a healthy relationship.

Share deep dark secrets with them, or past fantasies. Foreplay can also be just looking at them in their eyes and listening to them. Switch things up in your sex life and relationship and you’ll continuously have something new to look forward too.
